על התערוכה
התערוכה זה במרכז מציגה 17 מרכזים שונים, הכוללים הוסטלים, מרכזי טיפול הידרותראפי, גני ילדים, מרכזי תעסוקה ומרכזי-יום אשר הוקמו בשיתוף עם קרן של"ם במשך 25 השנים האחרונות. המבנים, המתפרשים על פני כרבע מאה ולאורך כל מדינת ישראל, מאפשרים מבט לאדריכלות ולחברה אשר אינם ניצבים לרוב באור הזרקורים, ובאמצעותם מנסה התערוכה לאפשר הצצה לאורח חייהם ושגרת יומם של אנשים בעלי צרכים מיוחדים החיים בחברה הישראלית.

בתערוכה מוצג תיעוד חזותי ייחודי אשר נוצר עבורה במיוחד ע"י אדריכלית צלמת אורנה מרטון, המנסה להציג לא רק את מראם הפיזי של המבנים השונים אלא גם את האווירה האנושית שבהם. צילומים ייחודיים אלה מוצגים לצד סרטים וסרטונים אשר נוצרו ע"י צוות ודיירי המבנים, בהם הם מנסים להציג את העולם שבו הם חיים.

התערוכה מציינת גם את פתיחתה מחדש של זהזהזה גלריה לאדריכלות במשכנה החדש במבנה 21 בנמל תל אביב.

The Exhibition
Center Stage presents 17 facilities of various uses, including hostels, hydrotherapy centers, kindergartens, safe employment centers and day-care centers established in cooperation with the Shalem Fund during 25 years of work. The structures, spanning a quarter of a century and spread across Israel present a view of architecture and of society not often put in the limelight, and with them the exhibition attempts to give some insight into the daily routines and lives of people with special needs living in our community

For the exhibition, architect photographer Orna Marton has created unique pictorial documentation of the various structures, trying to present not only the physical appearance but also their human atmosphere. These unique images are completed by a variety of short films prepared by the facilities' staff and residents, presenting their view of the world they occupy.

The exhibition also marks the reopening of the ZeZeZe Architecture Gallery in its new home at Hangar 21 of the Tel Aviv Harbor.
